As of September 1st, 2014, the insolvency administrator Andreas Pantlen, from the law firm Wellensiek, has sold all assets and the operative business of the insolvent Carl Schreiber GmbH to Endurance Capital AG, an industrial holding focusing on mid-cap companies in special situations.

 

For over 175 years, Carl Schreiber GmbH has been active in the field non-ferrous metal processing. Its core business is the production of plates, sheets and other semi-finished products made of copper and copper alloys for the electric and chemical industries as well as for the continuous casting of steel. The newly established entity CNS Carl Schreiber Neunkirchen GmbH, shielded from all previous liabilities, secures the jobs of 50 employees of the non-ferrous specialist, which exports approximately 80% of its products.
